Vi introduces a Rs 296 prepaid plan: 25GB data, unlimited calling, and other benefits

The new prepaid plan from Vodafone Idea (Vi) has been launched, priced at Rs 296. This plan does not offer daily data benefits, because they provide the entire month's data at once. Calling and SMS services are also included in the plan.

It's important to remember that consumers will be charged 50 paise per megabyte (MB) and that there will be additional fees for SMS if the provided mobile data is fully used. The prepaid plan is valid for 30 days after the date of purchase. The pack is mostly suitable for those who need calling services and a monthly data cap because it doesn't contain any OTT subscriptions.

Airtel and Jio Rs 296 prepaid pack

Similar prepaid plans from Airtel and Jio are available for Rs 296 and provide 25GB of data. The purchase of this plan is not advised if you need more data or you are using a 5G network. This is because 5G may require the purchase of an additional data add-on pack because it consumes lots of data. At Rs 61, Reliance Jio offers a 5G upgrade plan that comes with 6GB of data. The plan validity is based on your currently active plan, how long the pack will be valid.
