Rahul Gandhi was born in New Dehli and spent his childhood in Dehradun. He gets his primary education in New Dehli and Dehradun. But later for some security concerns, he continued his studies by homeschooling. He stayed away from the public sphere since childhood.

Gandhi did his graduation from St. Stephen’s College in New Delhi and moved to Harvard University for further education. But after his father’s assassination, he transferred to Rollins College in Florida. After his education, he gets back to India for taking forward his legacy.

Rahul Gandhi entered politics in 2004 when he was elected as a Member of Parliament from Amethi constituency in Uttar Pradesh. He retained his position from this constituency for 2009 and 2014. In 2007, he was appointed as General Secretary of the Indian National Congress.

Thereafter, he was chosen as the vice president of the Indian National Congress in January 2013. Then, in December 2017 he was promoted to the position of President of INC.

In the election of 2019, Rahul lost in front of Smriti Irani from Amethi. However, he retained his place in parliament by winning from Wayanad Constituency, Kerala. Afterwards, he held himself accountable for the loss of Lok Sabha in 2019 and resigned from the President of INC.
