Yogi Adityanath on 5 June 1972 in the village Panacur, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. His real name is Ajay Mohan Bisht. He was second born in the family among seven siblings. He graduated in Mathematics from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Uttrakhand.

Yogi left his home at the age of 21 and joined Mahant Avaidyanath, the chief of Gorakhpur Math. After taking Guru Diksha, he named “Yogi Adityanath”.

Yogi Adityanath became the in-charge of the election campaign of Mahant Avaidyanath in 1996. Inspired by his mentor, he entered politics and became MP from Gorakhpur Constituency. He retained his position for five consecutive tenures. Thereafter, he stands in the election of Chief Minister Of Uttar Pradesh in 2017 and won with a huge margin.
