This is the third time in the history of Forbes ranking women who are not only wealthy but using that wealth for a great cause. Vice President of Forbes, Moira Forbes appreciated Scott explaining to the world why she deserves the title.

She said, “MacKenzie is challenging the way wealth and power are accumulated in this country. And the way in which she is deploying her capital is revolutionizing philanthropy.”

This year, she has donated $2.7 billion and $8.6 billion earlier in charity. The third richest woman in the U.S has a net worth of $62.2 Billion USD that also makes her the 21st richest woman in the world. But the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is not the only one to lead the world’s stage.
