Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta, two of the judges from Shark Tank India, had a heated exchange as they debated an entrepreneur’s business pitch during the latest episode.
In the newest episode of Shark Tank India, Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta can be seen going head-to-head. On Wednesday, the Sony Entertainment Television channel shared a trailer of the show where the two judges were seen clashing with each other during a pitch from an entrepreneur.

Aman declared himself the ‘king of Amazon’ in an attempt to win the pitcher over with his proposal valued at ₹60 lakh, while Anupam rebuked him and said he ‘doesn’t know what he is talking about’ as he mentioned that many of the tech companies Anupam had supported had closed down.

At the beginning of the video, Aman informed the pitcher that they should not just be a product company, but also become a brand. He proposed an individual offer of ₹60 lakh for 10% and his statement was met with reactions from the other sharks. Namita Thappar laughed while Peyush Bansal gave Aman a look.
Anupam Mittal made a joke in Hindi, saying, “Stop talking about Amazon and praising yourself… I can assist you a lot with this technology since I comprehend your demand. My business is based on technology.”

In response to Anupam’s comment, Aman said to the pitcher, “Many of the companies he’s referring to have already been closed.” Anupam looked angry and retorted, “What are they talking about? They don’t even know!” He then added, “Think through it and come back, I’m not saying this to contradict you.

” A livid Aman Gupta then said, “Only Anupam brother knows all the details, I am just a naive person here…” Anupam then admonished Aman, “Yes, if you keep talking nonsense you will only realise it yourself…”
The season 2 of Shark Tank India premiered on January 2, 2023 on SonyLIV and Sony Entertainment Television. Rahul Dua, the comedian, hosted the show and the sharks featured were Anupam Mittal (founder-CEO of Shaadi.com), Aman Gupta (co-founder-CMO of boAt), Namita Thapar (executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (co-founder-CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (founder-CEO of Lenskart.com) and Amit Jain (co-founder-CEO of CarDekho Group and InsuranceDekho.com).

Ashneer Grover, the former co-founder and CEO of Sequoia and Ribbit-backed BharatPe, was absent from this season due to his company’s lapses in corporate governance. His wife Madhuri Jain Grover (former head of controls at BharatPe) was also removed from the company.
