OnePlus Pad enters testing in India, Launch in this month, Read Full Report

Reports have suggested that the OnePlus Pad, which is internally referred to as “Aries,” is being tested in India and is expected to launch alongside the OnePlus 11R. It is believed that the tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It was also rumoured to have the internal codename “Reeves,” but so far, OnePlus has not released any information about the device.

May Launch in June

Mysmartprice’s report indicates that the OnePlus Pad, codenamed Aries, has started being tested in India. The device is expected to be the first tablet from OnePlus, a Chinese tech brand led by Pete Lau. It could be released in India at the same time as the OnePlus 11R, possibly in June. Before this report, the tablet had been mentioned a few times under the name ‘OnePlus Pad’ and the codename ‘Reeves’.

Speculation has been circulating for some time regarding the OnePlus Pad. Reports in 2022 suggested that it would be released with a cost of CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 34,500). It had been expected to arrive last year, however this didn’t occur.

The anticipated OnePlus Pad was reportedly going to come with a 12.4-inch full-HD+ OLED display and run on Android 12L. It was expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 865 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The dual rear camera setup was said to have a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, while the front camera was rumoured to have an 8-megapixel sensor. The tablet was speculated to be equipped with a 10,090mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
