EPFiGMS: Register EPFO Grievance Online Without Visiting Office

Actually the name of this government portal is EPFiGMS i.e. Employees' Provident Fund Grievance Management System, from where you can get the solution of any problem related to EPFO sitting at home.

How to complain to EPFO about a PF related problem?

For this, first of all you have to go to the EPFiGMS portal and follow the steps given below to register a complaint here...

Step 1: Visit the Portal - Search "EPFiGMS" on Google or go directly to: https://epfigms.gov.in

Step 2: Select ‘Register Grievance’ - On the homepage, click the ‘Register Grievance’ option.

Step 3: Choose Your Role - Select your role as ‘PF Member’, ‘Employer’, or ‘Pensioner’ depending on your status.

Step 4: Enter Claim Details (if any) - If your issue is claim-related, enter your Claim ID. Otherwise, select ‘No’.

Step 5: Enter UAN & Authenticate -

  • Fill in your UAN number, captcha, and click ‘Get Details’.
  • You’ll receive an OTP on your registered mobile number and email.

Step 6: Fill in Complaint Details -

  • Enter your personal address and other details.
  • Write your complaint clearly, explaining the issue.

Step 7: Upload Supporting Documents - Upload PDF/JPEG documents related to your complaint (e.g., salary slips, UAN details, passbook screenshot).

Step 8: Submit Your Complaint - Click ‘Submit’ to complete your complaint registration.

What Happens After You File the Complaint?

  • You’ll get a unique registration number for tracking.

  • EPFO usually responds within 15-30 working days.

  • You can track your complaint status on the same EPFiGMS portal.
