The entire nation is under the lockdown of 21 days. The severe outbreak of corona has made people stay in isolation to save their and the lives of others. As the vaccine of Covid 19 has not been found yet, the only thing we can do to protect ourselves from coronavirus is to stay indoors, maintain social distance and do not step out of the house during this period.
Due to the lockdown, people are facing problems like curfews, buying daily hosueholds, and crowds. Between these problems, there is also a sad news of brutally beaten Delivery boys.
Amid lockdown, people shared pictures of beaten up food delivery boys, who wree on the streets for performing their jobs.
One user tweeted:
And these are some pictures of brutality across cities like Mumbai and Delhi today. Delivery folks who were trying to deliver food and medicines.. clearly they don’t understand on ground what are essential services.

This is how twitter responded to this brutality:
this is so fucked up. Police clearly does not understand the rules and regulations and certainly does know how to behave with public during the days when we expect them to support us. Saddened by the state and police barbaric attitude.

Imagine if the poor and unprivileged of this country just lose their shit and start retaliating. Absolutely horrific the way we are treating the most vulnerable. These guys are heroes being out there doing deliveries

Even Delivery Site ‘Milk Basket’ shared a tweet for their customer. They inform customers regarding pausing their services in the cities as of coronavirus. They wrote-
“On Sunday, we delivered to all our customers before 5:30 AM and Milkbasket vendors were harassed and held by authorities for ‘being on road’.”
@DC_Gurugram milkbasket app is saying authorities are harassing them hence they are unable to deliver. Look at the message shared by milkbasket. Please look at this matter sir to ease home delivery. pic.twitter.com/vNa1Im2xgI

The situation is tense and a challenge even for the government. However, there should be clear message from the center to the state authorities so that people, who are helping the society to function in these dark times do not suffer.
