Face-To-Face Hugs
One of the most romantic positions for couples is this one but it’s not worth taking risk during pandemic.
Whether anyone of you has mild symptoms of covid-19 or not, it is recommended not to come closer to each other’s breathing zone as it can increase the risk of infection.
Here are some don’ts to minimize the further risk of covid.
Things To Avoid While Hugging A Person
- Don’t Let Tears Slip Away– It’s obvious to get emotional if you are meeting your loved ones after a long time. But crying while giving a hug can increase the chances of spreading virus as body fluids contain virus. So, hold back your emotions and don’t cry but if you can’t then separate immediately.
- Having Cough? Say No To Hug– Expressing how much you missed or love them while holding them tight in your arms is also risky during the times of covid-19. Also, if you have cough or sore throat then an air hug would do the suffice…touching someone is a strict NO! NO!
- A Complete No To Kiss– Embracing your loved ones in arms make you forget the world and you feel like holding their hands, cheeks, kissing on forehead to shower all your love. But touching other person is definitely not recommended especially if the person shows mild respiratory symptoms. Also, make sure neither your clothes nor face mask come in contact with theirs.

- Wear a mask to avoid inhaling the exhaled particles in the surrounding
- Bend down on the knees and hug the other person at the waist level. This romantic position will turn your moment more memorable whilst keeping you safe.
- Kiss on head from the back side to minimize the direct exposure.
- Hug for not more than 10 seconds, hold your breath during that period, and then distance yourself at few meters from your partner.
Hand washing after the immediate hug will further minimize the risk. Merely following these won’t put you and your partner at zero risk.
