361 Farmers in Harda to Receive Off-Grid Solar Pumps, Irrigation System Set to Get Stronger

In a major boost to the agricultural sector, 361 farmers in Harda district will receive off-grid solar pumps under the Government of India’s flagship Pradhan Mantri Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana. The initiative aims to provide reliable daytime irrigation, reduce farming costs, and promote clean energy adoption in rural areas. The project is being implemented by the Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam, which has completed the selection process for eligible beneficiaries across the district.

Special Facilitation Camp Organized in Timarni

As per the directions of Harda Collector Siddharth Jain and District Panchayat CEO Anjali Joseph Jonathan, a special facilitation camp was organized on Thursday at Janpad Panchayat Timarni. During the camp, District Renewable Energy Officer Narendra Kumar Jain and representatives from concerned departments processed Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) formalities for 19 farmers. Officials informed that 34 farmers who attended the camp had already completed their Customer Information Files (CIF), helping speed up the documentation process.
