Addressing Invest Madhya Pradesh, Gautam Adani said, Adani Group will invest Rs 1.10 lakh crore in the field of pumped storage, cement, mining, smart meters and thermal energy in Madhya Pradesh, which will create 1.20 lakh employment opportunities in the state by 2030.

Gautam Adani said at the inaugural ceremony of the global investor conference program ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh’ in Bhopal that his group is in discussions with the state government for a greenfield smart city, an airport project and a coal-gasification project in which an additional investment of Rs 1,00,000 crore will be made. He said that the journey of Adani Group in the state will still be very long. Gautam Adani said, Today, I am proud to announce new investments of over Rs 1,10,000 crore in the sectors of pumped storage, cement, mining, smart-meters and thermal energy. This multi-sectoral investment will generate over 1,20,000 jobs in Madhya Pradesh by 2030.”

Describing these projects as a major achievement in the shared journey of development of Madhya Pradesh, he said that these projects will make the state a national leader in industrial and economic progress. Adani Group will make gas from coal in MP
Gautam Adani informed about the ongoing talks with Mohan Sarkar about an additional investment of Rs 1 lakh crore. He said that under the new investment, we are going to build a state-of-the-art greenfield smart city, airport and ambitious coal gasification project in Madhya Pradesh.

He also said that unprecedented changes have taken place in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He cited the initiatives of the Central Government like ‘Make in India’, ‘Digital India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and said that these steps have brought the country’s economy into the era of self-reliance and innovation.
