Upcoming Movies In August 2021: List Of Most-Awaited Releases

The second week of the month will have a patriotic theme with movies releasing back-to-back from the same genre. However, the week will start with Anand L. Rai’s musical drama ‘Atrangi Re’ followed by 4 movies each having a fresh story of courage and patriotism.

Atrangi Re
Starring Akshay Kumar, Dhanush, and Sara Ali Khan, the film releases on 6th August 2021

Bhuj- The Pride Of India
Bhuj is an untold story of the 1971 war between India and Pakistan in which women of Madhapur village played the main role. Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in lead roles in Abhishek Dudhiya’s Bhuj.
It will have an initial release on 11th August in Australia and is scheduled for 13th on the OTT platform.
Attack
The upcoming movie release is produced by Animal Rights Advocate John Abraham and is based on true life events. Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh will also be seen opposite John in Attack. This is an action-thriller film.
Filmmakers have scheduled its release date for 13th August 2021.
SherShaah
Producer Vishnuvardhan is making his directional debut with SherShaah which is majorly based on the Kargil war event. It will feature the mission of Captain Vikram Batra. Actor Sidharth Malhotra will play the dual role of Batra alongside Kiara Advani as Dimple.
SherShaah will release on Amazon Prime Video three days prior to Independence day i.e. on 12th August.

Bell Bottom
Good news for both Akshay Kumar and his fans as the most-awaited spy thriller Bell Bottom will get a grand theatrical release in 3D.
The movie was postponed a number of times due to a pandemic and filmmakers demanded theatrical release for it. After a lot of speculation, finally Bell Bottom is about to get a grand release in August.
Netflix Brings Back Classic Entertainment This Month
