Sameer Hanchate’s Gafla is no different than the real-life story of Harshad Mehta. However, the movie did not has any prominent faces from the Indian film industry. Vinod Sherawat, the actor from the movie Zubeidaa (2001), as Subodh and Shruti Uffat as Vidya were the main characters.

Abhishek Bachchan’s The Big Bull attracted a huge comparison from Scam 1992 web series. It came shortly after the success of the web series. However, the script, dialogues, and straight attitude of Jr. Bachchan in the role earned a great response.

Unfortunately, film critics did not find the story interesting and compelling other than Abhishek as the main character. It got an average rating of 6.1 and few bad reviews calling it pure drama and fiction with no surprising elements.
