Roger Malone, the Mayor of Dimmitt, Texas, referred to the death of the innocent cows as “breathtaking” Further he added that it was a “real tragedy.” The executives have trust that a fire broke out in the machine of the farm, which lead to the ignition of methane gas.

The top official of Castro County, County Judge Mandy Gfeller revealed that equipment broke out at the farm which eventually resulted in the explosion that caused the fire, as per the reports of BBC.

The Executives of Texas are still examining the actual reason causing the incident, she further added.

It took about a complete day for the fire brigade to drench the flame, which is said to have to open out swiftly by the holding pens where a number of hundreds and thousands of dairy cows were cumulated together for being milked.

A dairy farm worker got injured and eventually got rescued and admitted to the hospital. As per the reports of Tuesday, the worker is still in a critical situation but is stable now. Except for that worker, there was no other human to get injured

The Photos of the incident shared on social media reportedly revealed a big crest of black smoke swilling out of the farm.

Sheriff Sal Rivera told local news channel KFDA that the majority of the cattle died after the fire.“There are a few that got survived and there are some that are doubtlessly injured to that stage where they will have to be knocked down,” he was cited as saying.

He revealed the examiners had trusted that fire may have initiated with a machine which is popularly known as “honey badger”, which he referred to as a “vacuum that sucks the manure and water out.”

“There is a high probability that got overheated and possibly the methane and things like that ignited and spread out and also exploded.”
