Let Us Introduce Aria! The Second K-Pop Artist from India

The trend of K-Pop culture is at its peak over the last few years. And more than its songs, Indian audiences are crazy about the dance performance of the Korean girls. Some of the top K-Pop groups include BLACKPINK, Momoland, Brave Girls, STAYC, etc.

However, amidst this ongoing trend, Indian girls are also started taking interest in this field. In 2011, an Odisha girl, Shreya Lenka came up as the first Indian K-Pop star. She started her journey through a famous K-Pop group, Blackswan. Other than her, the group also consist of Youngheun, Judy, Leia and Fatou. She left the group in 2020. 

And now, another Indian girl has recently made her appearance in the K-Pop group, X: IN. Her name is Aria Aka Gauthami, and she belongs to Kerela, India. Aria is the second Indian K-Pop star who made her debut with a video song ‘Keeping The Fire’ on 11th April 2023.

Who Is Aria? Indian Girl In New K-Pop Group, X: IN

Three days ago, the latest K-Pop group, X: IN released its first song ‘Keeping the Fire’ on the Internet. In its group, it contains five beautiful girls named Chi U, E Sha, Roa, Nova and Aria. 

With even their first performance, the girls went viral on the internet and gained immense popularity in just three days. Apart from that, the song was also widely appreciated by the audience from different parts of the world.

Out of them, Aria is a 20-year-old Indian girl who belongs to the Kerela state. Read some of the key highlights about her career and background down here:

1. As per the sources, Aria’s real name is Gauthami and she belongs from Kerela, India. 
2. Despite being a Kerela girl, she is very fluent in several languages, including English, Hindi, Korean, etc. 
3. Aria started her career through a Malayalam movie Melvilasom, in which she played the small character of Ammu. With this role, she gained huge popularity in Kerela. 
4. Afterwards, the latest K-Pop star enrolled her name in GBK Entertainment as a trainee for their online training platform called ‘Universe.’
5. In only a few months, Aria got selected as one of the girls of GBK Entertainment’s upcoming group MEP-C. However, she decided to leave the group in between. 
6. The reason for her leaving is very obvious, Aria had the better opportunity in her hands. She got selected for a K-Pop group X: IN.
