In order to give group admins more power and make group navigation easier for all users, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced a number of new updates for groups on his Instagram Broadcast Channel.

One of the primary modifications is a new tool that offers group administrators better control over who can join a group. The admin will now be able to set specific criteria when distributing the invite link or making the group joinable in a community, providing them with more control over the privacy of their group. This enables them to ensure that only vetted people are able to join.

As groups became larger and admins gained the power to remove messages sent in the groups they monitored, WhatsApp recently expanded the number of users allowed in each group. Last year, WhatsApp launched Communities to assist users in getting the most out of their groups.
