Former President of India Pranab Mukherjee was admitted to the hospital after he tested positive for coronavirus. Since then the complications have been increasing day by day. Pranab Mukherjee’s health has been worsening day by day and is in deep coma since few days.
He has been on ventilator support and the doctors said:
“There is a decline in the medical condition of Pranab Mukherjee since yesterday. He is in septic shock due to his lung infection and is being managed by team of specialists. He continues to be in deep coma and on ventilator support,”
84-year old Pranab Mukherjee had developed lung infection last week.
He tweeted on August 10 when he tested positive for coronavirus and was admitted to the hospital. After which he went under a brain surgery. He has not been keeping well since then.
“On a visit to the hospital for a separate procedure, I have tested positive for COVID-19 today. I request the people who came in contact with me in the last week, to please self-isolate and get tested for COVID-19,”
Wishes and special prayers were also done for him in West Bengal wishing him a speedy recovery.
