Simple Energy, the much-talked-about Bengaluru-based startup, has finally launched the production-spec version of its One electric scooter with prices ranging from Rs 1.45 lakh-Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).

Simple One battery, motor details, underpinnings
The Straightforward One has a 5kWh lithium-particle battery evaluated for a guaranteed IDC scope of 212km (with 6% SOC left). There are two packs, one fixed and one removable, in this. This battery controls a long-lasting magnet engine evaluated for a guaranteed 8.5kW pinnacle power (4.5kW persistent) and 72Nm of force. The One is able to manage the sprint from 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in 2.77 seconds and on to a claimed top speed of 105 kilometers per hour.
At 134kg, the Straightforward One is serenely the heaviest standard e-bike at a bargain in India (and weighs almost 20kg more than the pre-creation e-bike we rode the year before). The seat height has also increased from 775mm on the earlier model we tested last year to 796mm.
The One has a wheelbase of 1,335mm, which is 40mm longer than that of an Ather 450X. It has a tubular steel chassis that is suspended by a telescopic fork and mono-shock setup. At both ends, it has 12-inch wheels that are shod with rubber with 90 sections.
Simple One features
