The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has applauded the agenda of Road Safety Campaigns. Under the campaign “Sadak Suraksha- Jeevan Raksha” the Government of India claims to make people vigilant about traffic rules. People are motivated to learn safety concerns like wearing a helmet and wear seat belts.

Around 328 lives are lost daily in road accidents. These casualties can be minimized by creating running awareness campaigns all around the country. India tops the chart of most deaths caused by road accidents. India accounts for 11% of total road accident casualties out of 199 countries.

The government of India has adjourned a joint commitment of central and state governments to reduce casualties caused by road accidents. Now, that we have recognized the danger we should work on communicating and advertising the safety protocols.

Road Safety Campaign around the Country

Under the Dainik Jagran road safety campaign, three lakh people will join to take the oath. All the government as well as non-government-related people will participate in the campaign. The departments include health, police, medical, safety hazards, and other non-government organizations. The heads of every department are advised to allocate the maximum number of public to increase the seriousness of the campaign in the most effective way.

The Naiduniya road safety campaign was organized today in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The swearing-in ceremony was announced and social campaigns and associates were encouraged to promote the objective of road safety. The city’s first civic mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh will take part as a representative of the oath-taking ceremony for 1100 school students in Samadadiya Mall.

The motto of the road safety campaign is highly focused on promoting road safety protocols and influencing people to wear safety gear while driving. India faces wide coverage due to high road accidents and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways wants to negotiate the casualties by teaching people about safety rules by the means of Road Safety Campaigns.
