A soybean factory in Marengo Plant was blasted by an explosion due to some technical issue. The facility includes machines and inventories to maintain and extract soybean oil.
The city officials have announced an alert for people to stay from the factory campus and avoid places with heavy smoke due to the explosion. Various medical services and fire extinguishers were seen near the campus of the factory.

C-6 Zone of Marengo Plant was filled with Emergency responders and people were evacuated from the affected place. Firefighters are working to control the explosion-caused damage and other services are also involved with utter commitment to avoid things from slipping out of safe hands.
Marengo Plant Blast: Casualties
Crews have been working overnight despite the explosion and all of them are safely evacuated to the safety checkpoints. 30 people were inside the plant during the explosion and 10 out of them were injured. No casualties have been reported from the incident yet.
10 people were taken to the Iowa University of Hospitals. Only one person was reported with severe injuries else everyone faced “mild” or “moderate” injuries.

Iowa State Patrol Trooper said – The precautions are used at the time of evacuation as a safety protocol because the plant uses bio-fuels that can be injurious to health.
