Post-Lockdown Plan: PM Modi Talks With Union Ministers

New Delhi: PM Modi asks all the Union Ministers to be ready with the top ten areas where they have to focus once lockdown ends. He also asks the ministers to prepare a list with all the significant decisions they need to take.

PM said that we should work on all those ten areas of focus, which have become a covid-19 hotspot. It is essential to work on them to reduce the spread and impact of the virus. The meeting between PM Modi and all the Union Ministers took place via video conferencing on Monday.

In a meeting, PM Modi also told that we should reduce the dependence on other countries. In addition to this, he also said that the outbreak of coronavirus in the country offers us an opportunity, especially for the medical sector, to work independently.

He has also appreciated the continuous efforts and feedback of the ministers for tackling the pandemic. Moreover, he also says that ministers should take all necessary measures, take ground reports, and prevent black marketing. There should be active monitoring of the districts as well.

PM Modi said we should be prepared for the situations once lockdown ends. As per the Union Health Ministry, India has crossed 4000 covid-19 cases until today. There are more than 100 deaths all over the country. A sudden increase in the claims is due to the Tablighi-Jamaat event.
