Mercedes AMG C63 SE Performance Launched Priced at ₹1.95 Crore

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the AMG C63 SE Performance in the Indian market. This is the third car launch of the German company in India this year. The company claims that the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds. The company has priced the car at Rs 1.95 crore (introductory ex-showroom pan India). Its booking has been started and delivery will be done in April next year.

The new sedan has been introduced with AMG-specific design elements and several performance updates. The special thing is that the company is preparing to give training to new buyers at Nurburgring to master its handling on the racetrack.

The AMG C63 SE Performance is similar in shape to the standard C-Class, but stands out with its vertically-slatted grille, aggressive bumpers and quad-tip exhaust. Its front part is long and it also has wide fenders which give it a powerful look.

LED headlight with LED DRL is provided in the front of the car. An AMG specific grille with vertical slats is provided in between. Two electrically controlled air intakes have been provided at the rear and bumper, which adjust the airflow as per need.

On the side, sporty side skirts and 19-inch AMG wheels are provided as standard. In their place, 20-inch forged wheels can also be taken as optional. Measuring 4841mm in length and 1900mm in width, the car is larger than its standard sibling, while the wheelbase has been increased by 10mm.

There is a black diffuser at the rear, dual trapezoidal exhaust tips on both sides and a black spoiler on the boot lid. However, its taillight is similar to the regular C-Class. It gets a plug-in charging flap on the left side fender and model badging with red highlights.

The cabin of the AMG C63 SE Performance gets Nappa leather seat upholstery as standard with embossed AMG logos on the front headrests. Apart from this, many upholstery options are available.

The steering wheel is provided with rotary dials on the dashboard, through which the drive mode along with the suspension setting can be selected. Behind the steering wheel is a 12.3-inch digital driver display, which can be personalized with different styles and views.

Behind the driver display you get AMG specific modes like Race and Supersport along with an optional headup display. Features like panoramic sunroof and Burmester audio system are also provided in it.

Talking about some features of Mercedes AMG C 63 S E Performance, it includes 8 AMG Dynamic Select drive modes, AMG Ride Control suspension with adaptive damping system and 2.5-degree rear-axle steering.

The package includes the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) with a voice-controlled multimedia system based on artificial intelligence with AMG and hybrid-specific functions, an AMG Performance steering wheel, an exclusive black AMG emblem hood badge, an optional AMG Aerodynamic Package and more.   • Along with this, a 2-speed electric motor is connected to the rear axle.
