Mahindra has launched the new Ebony Edition of its popular SUV Mahindra XUV700 in the Indian market. After the recent launch of dark editions of Tata Safari, Tata Harrier and other SUVs, Mahindra has also introduced its SUV in black theme. The XUV700 Ebony Edition was launched on March 17, which comes with only cosmetic changes over the standard version. Its starting price is around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top variant goes up to around Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).

The biggest change in the Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition is its stealth black colour theme, which gives it a strong and premium look. Apart from this, the SUV gets brushed silver skid plates, black-on-black grille inserts, blacked-out ORVMs and 18-inch black alloy wheels. The black and silver colour combination makes it different from the standard version.

The interior of the SUV is also completely designed in a black theme. The cabin has black leather upholstery, black trims and silver accents, which are seen on the center console and door panels. Apart from this, a light gray roof liner has also been provided, Which highlights the dual-tone effect. The dark chrome finish on the AC vents also gives a special look to this edition.

This SUV is available only in the top-spec AX7 and AX7 L variants. The XUV700 Ebony Edition is Rs 15,000 more expensive than the regular model. Its ex-showroom price starts at Rs 19.64 lakh, going up to Rs 24.14 lakh in the top variant. This Dark Edition will be available for a limited time.
