Popular Hollywood actor Liam Neeson has evoked a painful incident when he mulled over a racist revenge attack after someone close to him was raped.
“I went up and down areas with a cosh (a club), hoping I’d be approached by somebody, I’m ashamed to say that, and I did it for maybe a week, hoping some ‘black bastard’ would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could kill him,” Neeson shared in an interview with a leading British newspaper.

Hold up!! So why does he even care “what color where they”?? If she said “WHITE” would he have been roaming the streets looking to KILL a random white man?? He’s letting those movie roles go to his head. No stunt doubles out here on these streets bihh!! #TeamDL #racism #liamneeson #taken #takeyoasstobed
The actor declared that he had discovered out about the rape after coming back home from a trip. Without going into specific details he pointed out that the person who was raped was a family member, Variety reported.–
“There’s something initial — God forbid you’ve ever had a member of your family hurt under criminal conditions,” he said.
Talking about the rape victim Liam said, “She dealt with the situation of the rape in the most unusual way. I asked, did she realize who it was? No. What color were they? She said it was a black person.”
Urging his new film, “Cold Pursuit,” a short story of revenge, Neeson admitted that he did “learn a lesson” from his reaction to the incident and noted that while he figures out the primal drive for revenge, it ultimately leads to more bloodshed.
The actor is now facing backlash on social media with people calling him racist.
