He revealed, “Today signifies a milestone in the India Journey, as Honda Amaze has completed 10 years of presence in the country with more than 5.3 lakh customers. It is a planned premium entry model in our portfolio providing ‘One Class Above Sedan Experience’ to clients.
We have also offered bold styling, excellent performance, durability, build quality, safety, and a comfortable experience. We are happy that Amaze is crucially giving its worth to the business of India and has eventually become the best-selling model in our line.
40% Of The Buyers Are The First Timers
As per the CEO, the developed CVT automatic versions of the Honda Amaze are becoming extraordinarily famous among first-time buyers showing almost 35% of the recent model sales.
On this glorious occasion our President & CEO Mr. Takuya Tsumura said “We’re glad the Amaze is significantly contributing to our India business and has become the best-selling model in our line-up. The Amaze receives 40 percent of first-time buyers” he added.

Just only the Amaze model takes about 40% of the first-time buyer market. The Honda Amaze is made only in India at the Tapukara plant situated in Rajasthan. The plant serves domestic as well as export markets.
Honda Amaze, which is made in India, is taken to South Africa and other countries in the SAARC area. Having a strong network of 325 facilities in 236 cities in India, the Amaze has received a vital following in Tier 2 and 3 markets, which comes for about 60% of model sales in these areas.
