Lebanese capital, Beirut, witnessed two horrific blasts on Tuesday that blew the senses away. With a loud bang, as before, the sky of smoke spread at the height of the sky and then the red smoke started to appear. At least 50 people have died and more than 2700 people have been injured in this incident. According to reports, many buildings in the city have been damaged.

Ambulances took the injured to the hospital. Army helicopters are helping to extinguish the fire at the port. The cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained. The explosion caused fire, cars overturned and windows and door panes broke. Lebanon’s chief of general security Abbas Ibrahim said the blast may have been caused by excessive explosive material, which was seized from a ship some time ago and kept at port. Local television channel LBC stated that the material was sodium nitrate.
