Just like that, where a lot of people have been canceled or postponed their wedding, here’s a Muslim couple that got married on a video call. The ultimate way of marrying in this pandemic was adopted due to 21-days lockdown.

An Aurangabad-based man named Mohammad Minhajudd exchanged marriage vows with her to-be wife via video call.

Due to lockdown, the entire nation is facing a 21-day lockdown, which has limited the movement of people from one area to another. Social gatherings and events have been banned to control the spread of Covid-19 that has infected over 1 million lives across the world.

Talking to the groom’s father, Mohammad Gayaz, he said that the marriage of his son was fixed six months ago when there was no clue of Covid-19. However, as now the situation is very different, we decided to complete the wedding rituals via video call in the presence of a few dear family members.
