Woman Attacks On Duty Policeman, Harshest Measures Should Be Taken Against Those Who Attack The Cops

Hyderabad: A woman on 3rd April allegedly attacked a police officer in Telangana who had stopped her at a checkpost.

As per the police officer, the woman was riding with two others on a bike amid strict lockdown. So, when a police officer stopped them at the check post for breaking lockdown rules.

When a policeman was making the challan, the woman started arguing with the police and was also seen grabbing a police man’s collar.

“Three people were traveling on a single bike. Officials at Lalapet checkpoint stopped them as they were violating the lockdown rules. While a challan was being issued, the woman and her boyfriend argued with the police officer and shook his collar. A case has been registered. Further investigation is underway.” Said AC Malkajgiri

Attacks On Cops And Doctors

Recently in the National Capital Punya Salila Srivastava, Home ministry, Joint Secretary told the media that the Ministry Of Home Affairs has written to governments to take serious action in cases of attack on frontline workers and healthcare workers and ensure the double security to the medical staff.

She also said that two helplines 1944 and 1930 had been launched for attack complaints. Earlier, an FIR was registered against six members from Tablighi Jamaat, who were in Self-isolation at a hospital in Ghaziabad for not behaving properly with the hospital fraternity.
