Congress Demands Security for Kashmiri Pandit Employees!!

Kashmiri Pandits are once again assaulted at their own home grounds. The Kashmiri Pandit employees have started to protest demanding security against the terror threats they have been receiving. The employees are receiving death threats and the working professionals are on the verge of losing their jobs.

The companies are firing the Kashmiri Pandit employees as they aren’t able to attend the office and these employees have protested against the cause demanding security. The government has so far failed to assist the victims. Vikar Rasool Wani, President of Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has demanded the central government either assure the safety of Kashmiri Pandits or relocate them to Jammu.

The Kashmiri Pandit employees have said that they received the job opportunities from the Congress Government 12 years ago.  They have protested against the government and pleaded to secure them against the threats. The Congress President said that he will support the people of his state and try to perceive fruitful result for their benefits.

The Kashmir Valley is not at all a safe place to reside for the Kashmir Pandits and they have pleaded the government to help them relocate. Many protestors are sitting with a banner that says “ONLY SOLUTION- RELOCATION, Anywhere outside the Valley”.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has said that the payments of the employees have been released until August. He further said that the employees won’t get paid for sitting in their homes. Lieutenant Sinha said that the protestors should very well know that they are not going to get paid for not working and sitting at their homes, it doesn’t make sense to protest for this cause.
