Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) will soon relaunch in India as the Indian Government might lift up the ban imposed on the game. Also, The South Korean Company KRAFTON Inc. will be reconsidered to ally with the Indian Gov. and work on the privacy concerns that caused the ban.
Indian Government Lifts the Ban from BGMI
BGMI is a replica software of PUBG which is created by the Chinese firm Tencent. Indian Government earlier imposed a ban on the game over privacy concerns as Tencent was suspected of transferring user data to China. The game was later released by the South Korean firm Krafton Inc. by the name BGMI. The game was soon banned again due to the privacy concerns and threats caused to the young generation.

BGMI is expected release again with improvised privacy policies. Esports sponsored various tournaments for the game that uplifted the craze of the game and enhanced the gaming community in India.

Recently, a famous BGMI player “Hector” (Sohail Sheikh) has revealed that the government will soon release the ban from the game and the action is likely to commence in January 2023. Hector also said that the information was provided by a person that works at a very prominent place in Google company. The identity of the person wasn’t disclosed.
Hector has been in talks with other people of the Indian gaming community about the rumors. He also said that he has been in talks with Animesh “Thug” Agrawal about the rumors. Thug has stated that he is likely to get informed about any such update two weeks before its advent.
There is no official news from the side of Indian Government or Game developer Krafton Inc. until now but the leads and suspects point out that the rumors can be true and BGMI might be relaunched by January 15.
