The most controversial but significant for the world powers the Iran Nuclear Deal also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is signed in 2015 by Iran and other world powers including the United States.

According to this deal, Iran should terminate its nuclear program and open its nuclear facilities for international inspection.

In return for this nuclear sanction, Iran will get billions of dollars.

The main motive of this deal is to prevent Iran from expanding its nuclear weapons and also reduce the tension between Iran and its neighboring rivals like Israel.

But because of the Trump administration, they called off the US from this deal, which further accelerate the nuclear ambitions of Iran

After that Russia supported Iran and they continue the production of nuclear weapons.

Last week US Secretary of State Antony Blinken criticized the Trump administration withdrawal from the Iran nuclear agreement and said “ when the JCPOA, the Iran nuclear deal, was actually enforced, it did exactly what it was designed to do. It put Iran’s nuclear program in a box.  that the U.S. “will continue to look and act on ways to make sure that, one way or another, Iran does not acquire a nuclear weapon.

In November Iran’s chief said that Iran reached its 60% enrichment of uranium at its Fordow Enrichment Plant and it is close to building nuclear weapons.

As the US again joins the JCPOA, it is further negotiating with Iran to play according to the nuclear accord

Their attempt still got no success as Iran does not agree with all the terms and conditions the US placed on Iran.

Many Iranian protesters are against the nuclear agreement and they are questioning Biden’s democracy-filled foreign policy.

Many claims that Iranian citizens under the Khaimeni regime are facing oppression and they are using that money to finance terrorist organizations.

Even some marine family members of the US also raised their voices against the Iran nuclear agreement because their family was killed by Iran forces in the middle east.

Tina Ghazimorad the editor-in-chief of london-based Manoto Farsi language TV channel said “What is immediately required is for the West to seriously dismantle the financial operations of the regime and its cronies in the West, not meaningless sanctions that can’t be implemented. What is needed most, is for the regime to be hit in the pocket, only then concessions inside Iran will follow.”

Now the Biden Administration is facing a dire situation either to put Iran’s nuclear weapon program in jeopardize or follow its foreign democracy plan and cares about the Iranian protesters.

How they’ll deal with the situation will also affect their upcoming 2024 elections.
