Taking to Facebook, Boo’s owners posted, “With deepest sadness I wanted to share that Boo passed away in his sleep early this morning and has left us to join his best friend, Buddy. Our family is heartbroken, but we find comfort knowing that he is no longer in any pain or discomfort. We know that Buddy was the first to greet him on the other side of that rainbow bridge, and this is likely the most excited either of them have been in a long time.”

The owners went on to write how since starting Boo’s FB page they had received notes over the years on how Boo brightened their days and helped them through difficult times in their lives.
Saying that “Boo brought joy to people all over the world,” the owners and thanked “the amazing doctors, therapists, and staff at Adobe Animal Hospital and Sage Veterinary Centers for the countless hours of care and dedication they poured into Buddy and Boo.”

The Facebook post reveals that Boo was brought home by their owners in the spring of 2006. They add that shortly after Buddy died last year, Boo too showed signs of heart issues.
“We think his heart literally broke when Buddy left us,” the owners posted.

Since being uploaded, the post was shared over 78,000 times and received over 49,000 comments.
The announcement was met with shock from Boo’s fans, several of whom said they were in tears on hearing of Boo’s demise.

One user posted, “Boos little face gave me so many happy moments even when I was sad . I’ve followed for so long. Thanks for sharing the lives of these two fur kids with us and i am sure they are having the best time together now in doggo heaven. If you kind humans should ever get another fur kid I hope to see them here to brighten lives as well.”

While another wrote, “I’m heartbroken. The joy you and Buddy gave freely will be missed. I know you are with your Buddy and that gives me comfort.”
