One of the most trusted and famous snack brands ‘Haldiram’ is trending on Twitter. Netizens are divided on the ‘falhari mixture’ not because of its taste and flavor but for its packaging. It all started when a video went viral where a woman is seen asking questions about the packaging to the outlet’s store manager.
“If you want to have this you can have it, if you don’t want to have it, you can just keep this here and go from my outlet,’ replies the store manager. Watch the full video to know why the store manager said it.
#Haldiram Trending With #ShameonSudarshan
Amazing restraint by the Haldiram staff. BTW, Sudarshan's ‘sherni’ should know that it's Arabic and not Urdu. Haldiram exports to muliple Muslim majority countries who buy Indian products without discrimination.pic.twitter.com/jic6ASOo15

The woman in the video is a reporter from a Hindi news channel ‘Sudarshan’ who entered an outlet in Haldiram and start asking why the package has the ‘Urdu’ language on it. The product is completely vegetarian and suitable for consumption during fasting but the use of Urdu language made the reporter believe that Haldiram is hiding something.
Well, Twitter users have different opinions on the language and reporter’s question. One of a user cleared the confusion of journalists by saying that it’s not Urdu but instead Arabic language. Check more reactions here.
That girl reporting foolishly must also learn how to use G-lens. I translated it and i found that, *Made in India* was written on Haldiram packet in arabic. It is rather proud moment, that in other countries & languages our products are being sold. #Haldirams #Halal #haldiram pic.twitter.com/fWaSwyJFDk

Boycott Indian Currency Too
One user wrote that we should boycott Indian currency, as well as Urdu, which is written on it too. Others supported it by saying that when Pakistan’s currency doesn’t have Hindi on it, why our currency has the Urdu language.

A few users are supporting the news reporter saying they are showing the real face of Haldiram while others are supporting the store manager for not taking action against her.
Newsrooms Are Getting Toxic These Days
Just saw that #Haldirams viral clip. So young and so driven by idiocy and hate already. The girl with a Mike should ask for a refund from whichever so called journalism school she went to if she went to. Entire young armies created in so called newsrooms by toxic alleged editors.

When They Shout, Keep Quiet
A user appreciated the store manager’s coping skills with such nuisances.
Kudos to the #Haldirams lady for not taking Nazi tactics quietly. She fought back forcefully and passionately! That's what India needs more of. Not explaining painstakingly cos they don't want answers. They just want to keep screaming questions and spreading hate! https://t.co/6VGWjlqIbM

So much of drama for just the description given in Urdu language? The news reporters just don’t get any topics except those stupid silly news to entertain publics. Well answered by the store girl👍🏻. I don’t understand why religion issue comes out everywhere?#Haldirams pic.twitter.com/jiVxSGhL8k

Is It Even A Serious Matter Than Petrol Price Hike?
When the country is facing a severe rise in petrol prices discussing such a topic seems a move to divert the attention.
13 price hikes in 15 days.#PetrolDieselPrice rose by 9 Rupees in the last 15 days. And #Sudarshannews is like fuck petrol price, humko Aloo Bujiya khaana hai aur uska calories bhi padna hai. #Haldirams pic.twitter.com/hyRjmYr1VL

Despite all this mayhem on social media, Haldiram has not given an official clearance on the reporter’s question. What do you think about this?
