WhatsApp for iOS update rolls out ‘Search by Date Feature’

An update to the WhatsApp messaging platform, owned by Meta, has been launched for iPhone users. This update now allows users to search for messages by date. This update is now available on the Apple App Store, letting users easily move images, videos and other media from other applications and share them with other WhatsApp users in chat messages. The update has been released to some users with the expectation of being rolled out to all iOS users soon.

WhatsApp and its voice-over-IP platform have just released a new update, version 23.1.75, on the Apple App Store. This update enables users to quickly search and locate media in their chat messages based on date. Furthermore, this update also incorporates a drag and drop feature which allows users to easily transfer documents, images and videos from other apps for sharing on WhatsApp.

An update to WhatsApp's Android beta version 2.23.2.11 has revealed a new feature. According to the report, the messaging app is planning to add a setting icon in the drawing tool header that will enable users to customize the quality of photos they send. This will allow them to adjust the quality of the images they send to their desired level.
