Virat Kohli Calls Anushka Sharma His ‘Inspiration’, Admitted Her Sacrifice As a Mother, Read More

The adorable pair of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and former actress Anushka Sharma is one of the most loved couples in the country. They tied the knot on 11th December 2017, and in the 5 years of the relationship, their love for each other got stronger.

Virat and Anushka also have a daughter named Vamika, who was born on 11 January 2021. They regularly share her images on social media without revealing her face.

However, the couple recently grabbed headlines when Virat explained the personality of his loving wife in an interview. He told the media that Anushka is his inspiration as she made a lot of sacrifices in life.

In a recent interview, Virat Kohli confessed how much he admires his wife Anushka Sharma. The actor started with how he felt when he first met her.

Virat Kohli said “When I met Anushka, I saw a different side of life. It wasn’t the same as my environment. It was a different perspective, a different point-of-view.”

“When you fall in love, you start processing those changes within you, as well. Because you have to move together and to do that you have to open yourself up, you have to accept a lot of things. You share ideas, you share perspectives, which I had never seen in my life.”

He added, “I was a Dehli guy who grew up in a typical Punjabi household, and meeting Anushka urged me to change for the better, become more open and more accepting.”

Thereafter, when Virat Kohli was asked about the source of inspiration he gets in life, the cricketer again pointed his finger at Anushka.

He said “I’ve gotten a lot of inspiration from home. I’ve seen Anushka through this phase that has happened for everyone in the last couple of years. We’ve had a child, it’s an unbelievable life-changing process for both of us as parents, but for the mother, it’s literally life-changing.”

Virat Kohli continued, “How she has been so strong through it, and how she has been able to take all the challenges that have come her way. I’ve seen everything, I’ve seen the transformation happen, and that gave me so much strength and inspiration.

“What I am probably experiencing is not even 5% of what she has gone through. It is selfless, it is unconditional.”
