According to the Hindu calendar, this time the festival of Basant Panchami will be celebrated on Wednesday, 14 February 2024. In India, it is also known as Saraswati Puja.

As part of the puja ceremonies, yellow flowers and sweets are offered to the goddess. Recitation of hymns and mantras in honour of the goddess is another part of the puja.
