Rishabh Pant was en route to Dehradun when he suddenly slept while driving his Mercedes SUV. His SUV hit the divider and he got into a serious accident. The passerby helped him to get out of the car. 

His leg was badly injured and dislocated, and his right knee multiple ligaments were damaged. His head got injured and abrasion at the back. The doctor operated on his knee and gave him a time frame that was required for his recovery.

The exact timing of his recovery is 16-17 hours. But through his determination, he can recover very quickly within a 12-month period.

  • After one month he started taking Paneer in his diet

Rishabh Pant was later given energy boost food. He was given laddoos made up of various seeds, desiccated coconut, almonds, walnuts, dates, raisins, nutmeg, honey and ghee.

Dietitian Shweta Shah was amazed that Rishabh Pant’s appetite increased within 10-15 days. She also checked his lipid profile, which was balanced with the help of his friends. His friend-cum-manager was ready to bring any herbs and vegetables, whenever he needed that.

Rishabh Pant was not able to move his right leg due to his accident. His movement was initially observed by the physiotherapist and his doctor. Pant went for physiotherapy every week.

After 12 months he recovered, and he slowly started with the exercise. He begins slowly and exercises. When he got back on the field, he went to full-fledged training with his coach.
