The main door of the temple Singhadwaram is a deadline for the wave’s sound. You can clearly hear the sound of the waves when you are outside this door. But the sound will stop just after you step into the temple. You can check it by yourself when you visit here.

According to the legends, once Subhadra Mayi asked Lord Vishnu for peace. So he granted her wish.

The priest of the temple changes the flag every day. He regularly climbs the wall of the temple without any support. According to the beliefs, if it was skipped even for a single day, then the temple will shut down for eighteen years. The priests of this temple are following this ritual from 1800 years.

According to the records, 2,000 to 2,00,000 people visit this Jagannath temple and the quantity of food cooked always remains the same. Yet, the food never gets insufficient or wasted. Devotees say that it’s the miracle of God.

The style of cooking food is also different here. It is cooked using seven pots and placing them on top of each other. However, the food gets cooked very effectively at the same time.
