The Distant planets terminator zone harbors extra-terrestrial life. Recent findings suggest that there is a possibility of life in that zone of the planets that are distant from the earth.
Now it is open a door of new possibilities for astronomers to search for new locations for aliens’ life, instead of looking at the same locations “the planet with water”.
What is Terminator Zone?
The terminator zone is the twilight zone of the planets. It is the moving line that divides the daylight zone and the dark night zone of the planet.
In easy language, you can say If you see planet earth from distance, you can see the earth divide into dark and light zone due to the sun’s direction.
The line that divides the earth into the dark and light zone is called the terminator line.
Terminator Zone a hidden area where aliens could be hanging out
According to New Research Astrophysical journal the terminator zone could be a good spot for hosting extra-terrestrial life.
On earth, that zone moves around over the course of a day. But in some planets, which are tidally locked, have half where it is always a day and half where it is always night.
This tidally locked planet’s terminator zone always remains in the twilight zone, where the temperature is normal and water is present, which supports the possibility of alien life there.

Researchers Suggest the possibility of Alien life in the Terminator Zone
Researcher Dr. Ana Lobo
Dr. Ana Lobo, a researcher at the University of California, Irvine, US. Says – “This is a planet where the dayside can be scorching hot, well beyond habitability and the night side is going to be freezing, potentially covered in ice.
You could have large glaciers on night side. You want a planet that’s in the sweet spot of just the right temperature for having liquid water.
We are trying to draw attention to more water-limited planets which despite not having widespread oceans could have lakes or other smaller bodies of liquid water and these climates could actually be very promising.
By exploring these exotic climate states, we increase our chances of finding and properly identifying a habitable planet in the near future.”
Researchers clearly show that the terminator zone is the new area where Aliens quite possibly are living there.

Experiment Shows life on Terminator Zone
A researcher from the University of California simulated the climate of the exoplanets. They analyze the planets at varying temperatures, radiation exposure, and wind patterns condition.
They use software that models the earth’s climate and they resemble it to the different-different climate condition of exoplanets.
They found the exact climate conditions on the terminator zone of the exoplanet, which could hold liquid water enabling the existence of life.
These new findings are thrilling and exciting for alien lovers. Now astronomers will focus their search operations on the new area of the distant planets called the terminator zone.
