Skoda is set to reveal the fourth-generation Superb and second-generation Kodiaq globally later in 2023. Both models will have their own world premieres, and ahead of that, Skoda teased the design of the Superb sedan and Superb Combi estate as well as the Kodiaq SUV.

New Skoda Superb, Kodiaq: what to expect
Although the LED light signatures on both models are visible in the silhouette images that Skoda shared, very little of the design can be seen. The Eminent is noticeable with a solitary L-molded Drove front light signature, like the active, third-age model. LED lights in the shape of a C are shown on the sedan and estate models at the back. The Superb’s lip spoiler and a spoiler on the Superb Combi are also visible.

New Skoda Superb, Kodiaq powertrains, production plans
The new Wonderful and Kodiaq will go on with petroleum and diesel powertrains, and they will likewise get module and gentle half-breed powertrains. However, Skoda has not yet made any powertrain options’ specifics public.
Skoda also said that the Superb and Superb Combi will be made at the plant of the Volkswagen Group in Bratislava, Slovakia. The first-generation model is also built at Skoda’s facility in Kvasiny, Czech Republic, where the Kodiaq will be made.
Kodiaq India launch plans
While Skoda hasn’t mentioned when the new-gen Superb and Kodiaq will launch in India, expect the SUV to make it here first since Skoda still sells the first-gen model. The Superb could also make a comeback to India as it has been a segment leader for a long time. It is highly unlikely that the Superb Combi will be sold here as the demand for estate cars has never been great.
Upcoming Skoda EVs
Skoda announced a massive plan to introduce six all-electric vehicles by 2026 earlier this week. These include a brand-new “Small” EV SUV, the “Elroq” EV, a “Combi” EV estate, and a “Space” EV SUV with seven seats. By 2025, updates will also be made to the Enyaq models.
