The two-day G7 Summit is being hosted by Italy’s PM Giorgia Meloni. The event was also attended by Rishi Sunak, the British prime minister. As he showed up at the setting, he was welcomed by PM Meloni, and photos of the equivalent are currently popular on the Web.

However, an awkward hug and kiss between the two was quickly noticed on the Internet. An X user wrote, “Rishi Sunak being greeted by Giorgia Meloni at G7 looked a lot like he went in for a snog and she pulled back,” while sharing a picture of the moment. After that, there was a real feeling of “eurgh, smelly breath.”
PM Modi Departed For Italy
Today, June 13, Prime Minister Modi left for the G7 Summit in Italy. After winning the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 and being sworn in as India’s Prime Minister for the third time in a row, this will be his first trip there.
“At the invitation of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, I am traveling to Apulia region in Italy to participate in the G7 Outreach Summit on June 14, 2024,” the Prime Minister stated prior to his departure. I am pleased that Italy will be my first destination in my third consecutive term for the G-7 Summit.
About G7 Summit
The United States, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Canada, and Japan make up the G7. Italy presently holds the G7 (Gathering of Seven) administration and is facilitating the culmination from June 13 to 15 June 2024, at Borgo Egnazia in the city of Fasano in Apulia, Italy. The defense of the rules-based international system has been a major focus of the Italian presidency.
