Reliance Jio Announces A Big Diwali Offer on AI-Cloud Storage: 100GB Free Storage

Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani at the 47th Annual General Meeting announced the Jio AI-Cloud welcome offer that will start from Diwali this year. Reliance Jio AI-CLOUD can offer 100 GB of free cloud storage to Jio users. 

The offer came just after Jio raised the price of the Jio talk time and internet services.

It is the first time Jio has landed into generative AI services. Jio-AI Cloud is available at different prices, if the person needs higher cloud storage it is available at affordable prices. 

For this purpose, Jio Services will establish gigawatt scale AI-ready data centers in Jamnagar, powered entirely by Reliance Green Energy.

What is Reliance Jio’s Future Planning Regarding AI Generative Technology?

On the 47th meeting of Reliance Jio’s future planning, it’s Chairman Mukesh Ambani said that “it embraced the latest generative artificial intelligence technology and has embedded it into its operations, helping deliver  “smarter, more responsive services” to both internal users and customers.”

Reliance Industries embraced the latest generative artificial intelligence technology and has embedded it into its operation and drive smarter results.

Moreover, reliance on introducing a new AI lifecycle “Jio Brain” that operates on every Reliance operating service. He said “Jio Brain enables us to accelerate AI adoption across Jio, driving faster decisions, more accurate predictions, and better understanding of customer needs. We are also starting to use Jio Brain to drive a similar transformation across other Reliance operating companies, and to fast-track their AI journey as well.” He also added that by perfecting the Jio Brain services inside the reliance on every operating service, we will create a powerful AI platform that they can offer to other enterprises.  

Mukesh Ambani Boasted the Jio Network Services in the AGM

Mukesh Ambani chairman of Reliance Industries informed that the Jio network compiles 8% of global mobile traffic with the current data prices that are 1/4th of the global average.

Now Jio network has a global subscribers of 490 million. Jio has claimed that it has 350 patents in 5G and 6G technologies. Mr Ambani said “ Jio has completed the pan-India rollout of 5G networks. “Over 85% of the 5G radio cells operating in India belong to Jio.”

He also pointed out that “ nearly all smartphones over ₹8,000 ($96) sold in India are 5G-ready. “As 5G phones become more affordable, 5G adoption on Jio’s network will accelerate, further boosting data consumption.”

In Jio AirFiber the company claims 10 lakh users in just 6 months and the next 1 million in just 100 days. It was launched in October last year. Jio is targeting over 20 million small and medium businesses via Jio Fiber.
