Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha starrer comedy drama film Dream Girl was released in 2019. With a unique concept and mind-blowing performances of actors, the film received a great response from the audience.
However, the creators of the film, director Raaj Shaandilyaa and producer Ekta Kapoor are back once again with its sequel. But this time, the fim will feature Ananya Panday alongside Ayushmann Khurrana instead of Nushrat Bharucha.
On 13th February 2023, Dream Girl 2 creators dropped an intro teaser of Pooja. In the video, she was talking to Pathaan and announcing the release date of the movie. As per her statement, Dream Girl 2 was supposed to release on 7th July 2023.

Ayushmann Khurrana Announces New Release Date of Dream Girl 2

Today, on 24th April 2023, Dream Girl 2 lead actor Ayushmann Khurrana shared an audio post of his character Pooja on his Instagram handle. In the audio, Pooja announced the new release date for Dream Girl 2.
In her words, she said, “Mere priya Aashiqon, Chaar saal baad aapke Dil Ka Telephone phir se ring ring hoga. Ab iske liye taiyaari bhi toh shaandaar, dhamakedaar aur smoochiebhari honi chahiye na? Toh karo thoda aur intezaar; And keep sending lots of pyaar! Ab #7KoSaathMein nahin, Pooja ki kiss on August Pachees! Dream Girl 2 releasing in theatres on 25th August 2023. -Aapki pyaari Pooja.”
In the caption, Ayushmann Khurrana wrote, “Pachees badi hai mast mast, kyunki @pooja___dreamgirl aa rahi hai on 25 August. #PoojaKiKissOnAug25 #DreamGirl2 releasing in theatres on 25th August, 2023.”
