Meteorologist Narendra Meshram told that on Monday, light rain may occur in Bhopal, Sehore, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind and Morena including some places in Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Sagar divisions of the state. This change in weather has come due to the formation of a cyclone over North West MP and a trough line passing from North West MP to South Tamil Nadu.

Due to light rain, the mercury fell to 5.2 degrees in a single day in Gwalior. Naogaon recorded a fall of 9.7 degrees. Narsinghpur recorded the highest temperature of 40 degrees. At the same time, the lowest temperature was recorded at 27.7 degrees in Naugaon. The mercury was recorded at 28.8 degrees in Pachmarhi, the hill station of the state.
