Redmi A4 5G Price Revealed, Will be Launched with 50MP Rear Camera

Chinese smartphone maker Redmi introduced the Redmi A4 5G at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) last week. It is being brought as the first entry-level smartphone with Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset. However, Redmi did not give much information about it. Only the design of this smartphone was shown.

However, the company had said that its price would be less than Rs 10,000. A report by Smartprix claims that the 4GB + 128GB variant of Redmi's A4 5G can be priced at Rs 8,499. This price includes bank and launch offers along with other discounts. This means that the listed price of this smartphone can be slightly higher. Redmi's A4 5G has been confirmed to have 4nm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 as the processor. This report states that this smartphone can have a 6.7-inch HD + IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

Specifications of Redmi A4 5G

• Processor: The phone will have a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset based on 4nm process that supports 5G and makes every operation smoother. This is a much more powerful chipset than the 12nm MediaTek Helio G36 present in Redmi A3 and even Redmi A2. The new chip uses Cortex A78 performance cores while the Helio G36 has a lower Cortex A53 core.
• RAM and Storage: As already mentioned, the phone can come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in the base variant. It will have LPDDR4x RAM +UFS 3.1 internal storage technology.
• 5G Support: Redmi A3 was a 4G phone but Redmi A4 is coming with 5G network support.
• Battery: The Redmi A4 5G phone will have a 5,000mAh battery. It is being given 18W for charging, which is better than the 10W found in the previous Redmi A3.
• Display: The front of the phone can have a 6.7-inch HD + 90Hz LCD panel, which is the same as the Redmi A3 (4G).
• Camera: The back cameras can include a 50MP primary camera and another secondary lens. At the same time, an 8MP sensor can be found for selfies and video calling.

Talking about the design of the RedmiA4 5G phone, it was shown by the brand in colors like Black, Blue, White. There is a large circular camera module with four cutouts on its back panel. It is expected that this is for the dual camera setup and LED flash. While other cutouts can be just for looks. If we talk about the front side, the device has a flat screen panel. At the same time, there are power and volume buttons on the right side. Apart from this, branding is given at the bottom on the back.

According to the report of Smartprix, Redmi A4 5G will come in India in 4 + 128GB model. With the offer, its price can be kept at just Rs 8,499. This means that without the offer, this variant can be less than Rs 10,000 i.e. Rs 9,499 or Rs 9,999 as claimed by the company.
