PM Narendra Modi Awarded With ‘Global Goalkeeper Award’ For Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

PM Narendra Modi has brought out a revolutionary change in India. He has constantly worked for the betterment of India in every aspect. His focus in 2014 was to create awareness for a clean environment and proper sanitation.

Melinda Gates Foundation awarded Narendra Modi for his dedication on Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. Modi was ambitious about this project when he started off and people responsibly supported him.

Modi in his tweet thanked the countrymen for their contribution and support.

Modi in his speech added-

“No such campaign was seen or heard about in any other country in the recent past. It might have been launched by our government, but people took control of it. The poor people and the women of India were benefitted the most by it”.

According to Narendra Modi, the highlight or major concern of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was to construct 11 crore public toilets. Proper sanitation was everyone’s right and so this step was taken.  Even the Melinda Htes foundation reported an improvement in health issues and BMI of children.

However, Twitter Had Mixed Responses:

The WHO (World Health Organization) acknowledged the hard work done which created the possibility of saving 3 lakh lives.
