Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ola Electric has revealed the gold limited edition of the S1 Pro, the top model of its EV lineup. The new electric scooter is based on the S1 Pro and has some cosmetic changes. 24 carat gold plated elements have been used in the e-scooter.

The scooter’s mirror handle, brake lever, side stand, pillion footrest and grab rail have a 24 carat coating. Apart from this, there is no mechanical change in the scooter. The scooter will get an IDC range of up to 195km on a full charge as before. The company has not officially confirmed the number of limited scooters.

Chance to win S1 Pro Gold 

The company has also launched a festive campaign on the occasion of Christmas, which will run till December 25. In this, selected customers will get a chance to win the gold limited edition of S1 Pro. In this, participants will have to post a reel with Ola S1 or click a picture or selfie outside the company’s store and post it tagged with #OlaSonaContest. Participants will get a chance to win a scooter through scratch on December 25.

The Ola S1 Pro Sona Limited Edition gets a dual-tone design theme with pearl white and golden colours. The electric scooter gets a premium seat made of dark beige nappa leather with golden thread stitching using zari thread.

The main body panels are painted in cream white, the lower skirt, headlight shroud and front mudguard are painted in ochre beige. The telescopic fork, swingarm, rear monoshock spring and alloy wheel are painted in golden colour. It will get MoveOS software, gold-themed user interface and customised MoveOS dashboard.

The company will open new stores

The company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal had issued a statement on December 19 saying that it will open more than 3,200 stores across the country, which will be ‘one of the fastest rollouts of EV distribution globally.’ Each of these stores or outlets will have a service center attached to help customers after sales.

Currently, Ola Electric operates on a direct-to-customer network format with more than 750 stores, but now the company is going to launch an aggressive sales and service plan.
