Ola Motorcycle: Bengaluru-based EV maker Ola Electric is preparing to introduce its first electric motorcycle in the Indian market in the first half of 2026. The company showcased its four upcoming electric bikes in concept form last year. Customers can pre-book Ola Electric motorcycles on the company’s official website.
Ola Electric showcased the Roadster, Diamondhead, Cruiser and Adventure concepts at various events. The brand is expected to reveal the exact launch dates by August 2024.
Delivery of the bike will start in 2026 itself
Ola Electric has filed draft papers in its initial public offering. In this, the company has said that ‘We expect the delivery of these motorcycles in the first six months of 2026. We plan to expand our product portfolio along with motorcycles.’
Electric Ola Motorcycle design patented
Ola Electric has recently patented the design of its three motorcycles and a removable electric battery. At the same time, people have given a better response by adopting electric scooters. Ola has many electric scooters in the market, which are making a splash in the EV segment. These scooters have a 30 percent market share in the electric two-wheeler segment.
Ola Electric Scooter’s Rival Company
Ola’s three electric scooters S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1 X are present in the Indian market. Of these, three variants of S1 X are included in the market with different battery ranges. At the same time, scooters from Bajaj Auto, TVS Motor and Ather compete with Ola’s electric vehicles. Ather has recently launched the family scooter Rizta in the market.
Hero will also bring an electric bike
Hero MotoCorp is one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers in India. At the same time, Hero is also preparing to launch bikes in the electric segment. According to Autocar Professional, Hero MotoCorp can launch its electric motorcycle portfolio in the year 2025-26.
Hero’s line-up can include six models of the Vida range. Also, four models of Hero can be launched in the market under partnership with Zero Motors. Hero’s first model can come in the premium segment, which can be priced between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 5 lakh.
