After Toyota Innova Hycross 2023 made its global debut on November 21 in Indonesia, Indian customers were waiting eagerly for its launch. Now the most awaited MPV is finally here! It was unveiled officially by the company's Vice Chairman Vikram Kirloskar in the Indian market too at the Friday launch event. 

The recently launched vehicle is a hybrid Innova with SUV styling and will be available in the market from January 2023. Although, the window for advance booking is already open for potential buyers with a fixed price range of Rs 50,000.

Hybrid Vehicles Are the Goal- Toyota

The company is currently focusing a lot on hybrid vehicles even though the Indian market has started adopting electric vehicles.

That's because renewable energy sources are not in abundance right now, bringing the hybrid version will definitely lessen the burden on those sources while helping in serving the goal of reducing carbon footprint.

But if in near future, the country's total production of renewable electricity goes high up to 50-60% then definitely Toyota's next-gen vehicle will be electric. Right now, the company is focused on sustainable options and the new Toyota Innova Hycross is a result of it. Hycross is a green car, said Kirloskar.

Buyers may have to wait a little longer to bring hycross to their home. Although they can make advance booking from now. The original price is not revealed yet but it is expected to be more pricey than Innova Crysta. The starting price range of the Toyota Innova hycross is expected to be more than Rs 18 Lakh.
