Hyundai has finally launched its new Hyundai Alcazar in India. The company had already started the outline of the car. The front of the Hyundai Alcazar Facelift 2024 has a connected LED DRL with the company’s logo and a large grille below it. Boxy LED headlights have been given on both sides of it. The front bumper of the car is quite large and the grille is divided into two styles. Its bumper is given on a silver skid plate. It has 18-inch alloy wheels. This car has been launched at a starting price of Rs 15 lakh.
Hyundai Alcazar: Design
- The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar isn’t just a bigger Creta in terms of its looks. It gets a bold-looking design theme, with a quite striking-looking front face with H-shaped connected LED DRLs, a large radiator grille, and a wide scuff plate.
- On the side, the big change is new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, larger rear quarter window, black-painted cladding, and bridge-type roof rails.
- The rear of the Alcazar has also been significantly changed, including a new spoiler, new bumper, and a new design for the skid plate. It also gets connected LED taillamps with sequential turn indicators. 2024
Hyundai Alcazar: Dimensions
As far as dimensions are concerned, the Alcazar measures 4,560 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height. Compared to the current model, the 2024 Alcazar is 60mm longer, 10mm wider and 35mm taller. The wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,760mm.
Hyundai Alcazar: Cabin and Features
- On the inside, the major change on the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar is a new dashboard layout, borrowed from the facelifted Creta.
- The cabin is now upholstered in new colours – Luxurious Brown and Mist Navy. The dual-colour treatment gives the overall cabin a premium appeal.
- Also, the 6-seater variant now gets ventilated second-row seats with folding armrests, which improve access to the third row.
- The highlight of the Alcazar’s interior is the unique thigh extender.
Hyundai Alcazar: Specifications and Mileage
- The Alcazar facelift gets a total of two powertrain options – a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol. The oil burner is a 4-cylinder unit, and it produces a maximum power output of 115 hp and a peak torque of 250 Nm.
- It gets two transmission options – a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AT. The 1.5L, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol unit is tuned to churn out a peak power output of 160 hp and a peak torque of 253 Nm.
- Transmission options include a 7-speed DCT and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
- The Alcazar is also equipped with 3 drive modes (Normal, Eco and Sport) and 3 traction modes (Snow, Mud and Sand), paddle shifters and idle start-stop system
